James Kennemer, age 64 of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, March 5th, 2016 in Winnsboro. He was born on July 20th, 1951 in Dallas to Alton Glen Kennemer and late Mary Witt Kennemer. He was a Truck Driver a Baptist, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Witt Kennemer; sisters, Kathy Steele and Dorothy Simmons. He is survived by his father, Glen Kennemer and wife Guyla of Winnsboro; son Michael Kennemer of Beaumont; daughter, Christina Weems and husband Jim of Hoxie, KS.; brothers, Elburt Glenn Kennemer and wife Audiene of Sulphur Springs, Silas Woody Kennemer of Como; sister, Beverly Atkinson and husband Challen of Mt. Vernon; special friend, Brenda Cofer; five grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 7th, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 8th, 2016 at Beaty Funeral Home at 2:00 pm, Bro. Fred Morrow and Bro. Perry Shirley conducting, interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Winnsboro.
