James Ronnie Randolph

James Ronnie Randolph, 83, passed away on October 22, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife of

44 years, Mary Randolph, in 2020.

Born in Garland, Texas on April 3, 1940, Ron was the son of James E Randolph and Vida Lile. Ron began work in the grocery business at age 13, apprenticing as a butcher. He worked his way up in the company,

and by his early 40s, became the President of a wholesale grocery company, the first of 4 different multi-million dollar companies he would serve as President and CEO before retiring in 2000.

Ron deeply loved his family, no matter the physical distance separating them. He was an avid hunter and

fisherman who loved showing off his room of trophies to anyone and everyone. He was a follower of his

Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children: Beverly Brown (Bobby), Cassie Taylor, Corky Randolph, and Jeremy

Randolph (Trisha). He had 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by

a son, Victor Russell (Missy).

Visitation will be Friday, October 27 th , from 6:00-8:00p.m at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro. The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 28 th at 1:00p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Winnsboro. A brief graveside service will follow at Forest Academy Cemetery in Como, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Rock Hill Baptist Church, or the Harmony-

Pittsburg Baptist Association.
