James Simonek

Mr. James Simonek, age 82 of Mineola, passed away on Sunday, July 28th, 2019 in Tyler. He was born on April 26th, 1937 in Mineola to the late John Simonek and Gladys Thomas Simonek. He was a retired construction superintendent and member of Longview Baptist Temple. He also served as a jail ministry preacher for several years. He was preceded in death by two brothers, David Keith Simonek and Robert Simonek and by two grandchildren, Bridgette Dawn Simonek and Christopher Ray Simonek. James is survived by his loving wife, Aleta Simonek of Mineola; son, James Paul Simonek II of Mineola; brothers, Wesley Simonek of Mineola and Leslie Simonek of Forney; sister, Edna Stovall of Tyler and Louise Satterwhite of Greenville; two grandchildren, James Paul Simonek III, Jessica Bidlingmaier; five great grandchildren, Charles Joseph Bidlingmaier II, Aleah Dawn Bidlingmaier, Jenieces Dawn Simonek, Jesse James Simonek and Luke Christopher Simonek. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home. with Bro. Bob Bowen conducting. Interment will be at New Hope Cemetery in Mineola.
