James Russell Thacker

Mr. James Russell Thacker, age 47, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2006 at his home in Winnsboro. He was born on June 6, 1959 in Dallas to Kenneth Jumper and Joan Barr. 

He was a veteran of the United States Army's 82nd Airborne, and the United States Navy. He and brother-in-law, Robert Lynn, were co-owners of R & R Telecom. 

He was preceded in death by his father and only brother, Bobby Jack Garrett. He is survived by his mother, Joan Barr of Winnsboro; four sons, Jake Thacker of Grand Prairie, Jonathan Jewks of Winnsboro, Justin Thacker of Winnsboro, Joshua Thacker of Winnsboro, and their mother Deann Thacker of Winnsboro; three sisters, Karen Thomas and husband Ron of Bogota, Nancy Lynn and husband Robert of Winnsboro, Twana Garrett of Jackson Ms; one uncle, Charles Barr of Little Rock, AR.
