James William Rogers

James William Rogers, 73, of Mt. Vernon, Texas, passed away after a lengthy illness on February 27, 2021, in a Mt. Pleasant nursing home. James was born on April 10, 1947. Mr. Rogers worked many years as a truck driver delivering his cargo to destinations as far as the mind could imagine. He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Peckham Rogers. James is survived by his daughter-in-law Lynette Tabor; granddaughter Ashley Tabor; stepdaughter Vivian Tish Tabor; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Virginia and Raymond Tabor; numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be scheduled at a later date. Burial will occur in Bethel Cemetery in Franklin County.
