Jamie L. Taylor

Mrs. Jamie L. Taylor, age 84 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. She was born on September 27, 1925 in Como to the late Manton and Lois Bryant White. Mrs. Taylor was a retired teacher for many east Texas communities, a Baptist, member of the Hospital Auxiliary in Athens, and former president of the Athens Retired Teachers Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Juanita Mayben. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Taylor of Athens; son, C.L. Taylor and wife Edith of Friendswood; brother, William B. White of Ft. Worth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
