Jane A. Steward

Mrs. Jane A. Steward, age 88 of Tyler, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2008 in Tyler. She was born in Rosebud on January 11, 1920 to the late James A. and Lottie Cornelia Archer Smith. She was married to Roy Steward on August 1, 1940 in Rosebud. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Winnsboro, The Standard Club of Winnsboro, the Winnsboro League of Arts, and she voluntered at the Winnsboro Hospital for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; a twin-brother, James Arthur Smith; a son, Milton Roy Steward; a daughter, Linda Wanner. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Roy Steward of Tyler; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and David Crump of Tyler; also surviving are grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
