Janet Turner Johnston

Janet Turner Johnston, age 82, died Monday, August 9th, 2010 in Quitman, Texas. She was born on Saturday, April 21, 1928 in Hartford, Tennessee to the late Ural and Ota Turner. She had lived in Mineola, Texas since 1994. Mrs. Johnston was a member of the Irving Women's Bowling Association, a lifetime member of the Texas PTA and a member of the Mineola League of the Arts. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother; Jet Turner and by two sisters; Irma Turner Brown and Bain Turner.

She is survived by her husband; William K. Johnston of Mineola, three sons; Kenneth Patterson and wife Carla of Corpus Christi, Texas, William K. Johnston, Jr. and wife Lori of Euless and Daryl Johnston of Euless, five grandchildren; Shawn Patterson, Myria Patterson, Brett Patterson, Jesse Patterson and Melissa Johnston, and three great-grandchildren; Nydia Patterson, Devon Patterson and Zye Butler.
