Janetta Ruth Brown

Janetta Mills Brown, 83 of Winnsboro, passed away on May 17, 2020. Mrs. Brown was born on August 11, 1936 in Winnsboro to James Mills and Vila Mae Gearner-Steele. Janetta was a lifelong resident and homemaker, wife, mom and grandmother. She was a member of Caney Baptist Church in Pickton. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons Timothy and Renny Brown; and sister Temple Miller. Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband Bennie Brown; daughter Jenny Orsburn and husband Ronald, daughter Joetta Duffer; brother Danny Steele; 7 grandchildren Jessica, Nathan, Travis, Jennifer, Jocey, Landon and Jewelisa; 7 great-grandchildren Kailey, Ashton, Keylan, Wyatt, Tripp, Joshua and Alex. A private family funeral service will be held in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery with Terry Bolton officiating.
