Janice Esther Smith

Mrs. Janice E. Smith, of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the age of 68. She was born in Houston on December 11, 1942 to the late James D. and Odessa Price Baxter. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Quitman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 26 years, Ronald Smith; and a son, Chris Davis. She is survived by her son, Shannon Davis and wife Bobbie of Winnsboro; daughter, Lisa Overstreet of Winnsboro; brothers, David Baxter and wife Judy of Sulphur Springs, Timothy Baxter; sister, Sue Joyner and husband Kelly of Winnsboro; niece, Celina Griggs of Sherman; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
