Jean D Moody

Jean D. Moody, age 82, died Monday, May 14, 2012 in Mineola, Texas. She was born on Thursday, September 5, 1929 in Faulkner County, Arkansas to the late Harve and Oplielia Harper. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mineola and a retired Mineola business owner. She was a member of the Pilot Club and the Mineola Chamber of Commerce.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Jim Cotham; three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Cecil Moody; three sons, Larry Cotham and wife Pat of Castle Rock, Colorado, Jimmy Cotham and wife Vicky of Mineola and Johnny Moody and wife Nancy of Tupelo, Mississippi; three daughters, Cindy Haynes and husband Tyson of South Haven, Mississippi, JoAnn Cotham and partner Mary Nevers of McKinney, Texas and Sharon Greer and husband Tom of Ft. Worth, Texas; one sister, Betty Wyse of Millington, Tennessee; thirteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Ms. Moody will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 6 - 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held at Beaty Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 10:30AM with Dr. Mark Neeley officiating.
