With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffrey Wayne Brunson, born on August 21, 1961, in Dallas, Texas. Jeffrey, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, left this world on July 29, 2026, at the age of 64.

Jeff spent most of his childhood and young adult life in Carrollton, Tx making lifelong friends that he cherished everyday. He devoted much of his life to his work as a Service Manager with Team Air. He was known for his hands-on approach, enjoying mechanics, woodworking, and all things that allowed him to create and build. His spirit was lively and filled with a love for old rock and roll music, which provided the soundtrack to many cherished moments with family and friends. Jeff's love for riding Harleys through the beautiful East Texas scenery with the wind through his hair, was matched by his loving wife and companion Linda.

For 32 years, Jeff called Winnsboro home, and he served the community for 13 years with the Mount Pleasant Police Department. His commitment to helping others was evident in all that he did, and he touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity. He faced his ongoing battle with a heart condition with remarkable strength and bravery-a true testament to his character. Though he was on the list for a heart transplant, time unfortunately ran out, and he now rests in peace after his long fight.

Jeff is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Brunson; his sons, Jerromy and Travis, along with their respective wives, Anna and Jenny; his daughters, Nikki Frost, Amanda Ross, Christina Ross and husband Victor; his sister, Laura McCadden, and brother-in-law, Andy McCadden; and his beloved aunt, Cheryl Jordan; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A visitation will be held on August 3, 2026, at 9:00 AM, leading to a funeral service at 10:00 AM at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro, Tx. Jeffrey will be laid to rest at Lee Cemetery following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to The Heart Foundation, to further the fight against heart disease in honor of Jeff's journey.

Jeffrey Wayne Brunson will be forever missed but will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
