Jerald Anthony Mcschooler

Services for Jerald A. McSchooler, 49, Mineola, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Beaty Funeral Home chapel, Mineola, with the Rev. Fred Morrow officiating. Mr. McSchooler died Sept. 12, 2008, in a Tyler hospital.

He was born Oct. 24, 1958, in Farmington, N.M., and graduated from LaMesa High School. He was sore manager for Cade's Building Materials in Mineola and a member of New Hope Baptist Church, East Texas Men in Harmony Quartet, Lake County Playhouse and chairman of Relay for Life.

Survivors include his wife, Melody McSchooler, Mineola; son, Shawn Anthony McSchooler; parents, Fred and Lou Smith, Quitman; brothers, Eugene McSchooler, Quitman, Terry Smith, Vernon, and Monte Smith, Johnson City, Tenn.; and sister, Dennise McSchooler Womack, Lubbock.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
