Ron was a hard worker throughout his entire life. He worked in construction, truck driver and in January of 2018 he retired after serving over 23 years as the Lead Maintenance Technician at the apartment complex where they lived for over 25 years. There was nothing he couldn’t fix, patch or rig! He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and football on TV. Dale Earnhardt Sr. and the Dallas Cowboys were his favorites. He also loved fishing and he and his wife caught many fish from Winnsboro Lake. Ron and Jane’s favorite time of year was Christmas. They would shop all year long and buy gifts for the family and celebrate with lots of home-made candy and cookies. They also made sure to feed and watch over their neighbors. Jane would cook for them, she loved to cook, and Ron would deliver to whomever needed it.
