Jerry G. Conner

Jerry G. Conner, age 74 of Winnsboro died on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in Winnsboro. He was the son of the late Aaron Conner and the late Lucille Gibson Conner. He was a retired Seabee from the United States Navy, where he served in Korea and Vietnam. He was married to Mary Holley on September 7, 1974; and was a member of Sharon Baptist Church in Winnsboro. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lana Conner, and a sister, Linda Hall.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary Conner of Winnsboro; two sons, Robert Conner and wife Mili of San Antonio, TX and Rick Conner and wife Reni of Winnsboro, TX.. Also survived by two brothers, A.D. Conner and wife Betty of Tyler, TX, James Conner and wife Gaynell of Columbus, MS; and a sister, Barbara Tork of Burleson, TX; four grand children and two great-grand children.

Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday at Beaty Funeral Home 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, Texas 75494.
