Jerry W. Davis

Mr. Jerry "Hippie" Davis passed away on Monday, February 1, 2010 at the age of 61. He was born on August 26, 1948 to the late Thomas E. Davis and Ruby Hazel Romack. Mr. Davis served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and worked at the Stroh's Brewery in Longview. He was an avid fisherman and was preceded in death by brothers, John Davis and Thomas Davis. Survivors include the mother of his children, Darla Heinen of Mt. Pleasant; sons, Jeffrey Mark Davis and Bradley Wayne Davis both of Kilgore; brothers and sisters-in-law, E.R. "PeeWee and Joyzelle Davis of Winnsboro, James Earl and Joyce Davis of Sulphur Springs and Clifford Lee and Sandy Davis of Liberty City; sisters and brothers-in-law, Hazel and Gerald Stanley of Hagansport, Betty and Ronny Russell of Mt. Pleasant and Martha and Dick Aston of Ohio; one grandchild, Jager Isaiah Davis and numerous nieces and nephews.
