Jerry Wayne Gushwa

Jerry Wayne Gushwa, 68, of Mineola, TX died on Thursday, February 26, 2015 in Mineola, TX. He was born on Friday, October 25, 1946 in Portales, NM to the late John J. and Edith L. Gushwa.

Jerry graduated high school in Hobbs, NM. He touched many lives with a gracious heart.

He is preceded in death by his wife Frances Gushwa; brother, Larry Gushwa.

He is survived by two step sons; Jay and Skip; brother, Roy Gushwa from Mineola, TX; four sisters, Judy Singleterry from Hobbs, NM, Wanda Hunt and husband Steve from Munfordville, KY, Linda Rockwell from Mineola, TX, Martha Fotopulos and husband Andrew from Clovis, NM; step grandson, Neal; special niece, Nicole Gushwa of Mineola, TX; special nephew, Stephen Rockwell of Mineola, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm officiated by Pastor Andrew McQueen. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Tyler, TX.
