On Sunday, September 19, 2021, Jerry Monday Johnson, loving brother, brother-in-law, and uncle passed away at the age of 81.

He sold that business and built his shop at home where he continued to do welding, machine building, pecan cracking, you name it, and Jerry could draw it out and build it. Jerry also did custom framing for Jefferson Imagining in Jefferson, Texas for 20+ years. Jerry and his friend, Gene Norton, never slowed down. They were active in several honeybee groups and had many hives of bees. Jerry was one of a kind and loved to be around his family and friends.

He is survived by his brother Royce Johnson, sister-in-law Jan Johnson, nephews Kenny Johnson, Keith Johnson, Craig Johnson and Mike Johnson, nieces Kim Garrison and Jeannie Sims, and numerous friends.
