Jessie Lee Swanson

Mrs. Jessie Lee Swanson, age 91 of Pickton, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 4, 2023 in Sulphur Springs. She was born on October 16, 1931 in Mt.Pleasant to the late Issac Ollie Thompson and Gertrude Wilson Thompson.

Mrs. Swanson helped her family run a dairy for many years and also worked as a Medical Aid at several local nursing homes. She was a longtime member of Harmony Assembly of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Swanson and two sons, David Leon Swanson and Gary Lee Swanson.

Survivors include her sons, Lanoy Swanson and wife Kathy of Sulphur Springs, Mike Swanson and wife Nancy of Pickton; brother, Ricky Thompson of Como and Joyce Oyster of Caddo Mills; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Harmony Cemetery CR 2397 Winnsboro, TX 75494 with Bro.Zelpha Gaines conducting.
