Jesus Galaz Torrez, age 78, died Friday, January 14, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Thursday, June 2, 1932 in Esqueda, Sonora, Mexico to the late Juan Galaz Dominguez and Rosa Torrez. He lived in Mineola, Texas for 30 years where he worked and raised a beautiful family. He was a member of Sand Springs Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Roberto Galaz; and a daughter, Silvita Galaz.
He is survived by his loving wife, Romelia Galaz Ontiveros; four daughters, Marisela Lopez Galaz, Leticia Quezada Galaz, Palmira Ramos Galaz, Silvia Cruz Galaza; four sons, Juan Galaz, Jesus Galaz, Rene Galaz, Jose Luis Galaz; one sister; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
