Jim Russell Brown

Jim Russell Brown, age 58, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Saturday, March 27, 1954 in Ft. Worth, Texas to M.C. and Joyce Brown. He was a truck drive and a member of Holly Brook Baptist Church at Holly Lake Ranch, Texas. He was a Boy Scout Leader for many years.

He is preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Brown, his wife, Rene Brown of Hawkins; two sons, Eric Brown and Debora Rustemeyer of Austin, Texas and Chad Brown and wife Nicole of Tyler; a daughter, Tyra Dodson and husband Dwayne of Porter, Texas; a brother, Michael Brown of Hawkins; and five grandchildren, Chandler Dodson, Elliot Brown, Rylie Brown, Van Dodson and Hanna Brown.

Visitation for Mr. Brown will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Beaty Funeral Home in Hawkins from 6 - 8 PM.

A graveside service will be held at Hawkins Cemetery on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Guy McGraw officiating.
