Jimmie Dee Herriage

Mr. Jimmie Dee Herriage, age 76 of Quitman, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on March 15, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to the late James Edward and Julia Mae Herriage. He honorable served in the United States Marine Corp in Vietnam as a Staff Sergeant. Mr. Herriage was a Postmaster for the United States Postal Service for 26 years. He was a pastor of Gunter Assembly of God for 15 years. Jimmie attended First Assembly of God in Quitman, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife; Gloria Herriage. He is survived by daughter; Delaina Pesnell of Grand Saline, Texas, brother; Johnnie Herriage of Kerens, Texas, granddaughter; Julia Herriage of Orlando, Florida. Memorial service will be on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God in Quitman, Texas. Honorary pallbearers; Justin Herriage, John David Herriage, Josh McKnight. In lieu of flowers family has requested that contributions can be made to Pleasant Hill Children's Home, 170 Private Road 292 Oakwood, Texas 75855.
