Jimmy D. Kernes

Mr. James D. "Jimmy" Kernes, Jr., age 53 of Winnsboro, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013 at his home. Jimmy was born on September 4, 1960 in Tyler to the late James D. Sr., and Betty Ellen Teasley Kernes. He was a self employed auto-mechanic, and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his beloved, Teresa McQueen of Winnsboro; her sons who he treated as his own, Chris Newsom and Deven Brown both of Winnsboro; three sisters, Kathy Roberts and husband Tidwell of Cartwright, Laura White of Cartwright, Lola Carleson of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Kelsey Newsom, Samuel Newsom, and Kalee Newsom.
