Jimmy D. Mcdougald

Jimmy D. McDougald of Mineola, age 76, died Friday, May 4, 2012 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Friday, July 7, 1935 in Hainesville, Texas to the late V. B. and Lorene McDougald. He worked as a lineman for SWEPCO. Mr. McDougald graduated from Mineola High School in 1955 and served in the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 53 years, Shirley McDougald; and a brother, Douglas McDougald.

He is survived by two sons, Eddie McDougald of Coppell, Texas, Dean McDougald and wife Marci of Mineola, Texas; a daughter, Susan Davis and husband Mike of Lindale, Texas; a brother Charles McDougald and wife June of Mineola; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM on Monday, May 7, 2012 at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola.
