Jimmy Lynn Mcelyea

Jimmy Lynn McElyea, age 59 of Mount Pleasant, Texas died on Sunday, May 13, 2012, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Born Saturday, June 21, 1952 in Pittsburg, Texas, he was the son of Claude McElyea and Floyce Denny McElyea.He was a retired chemist, and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude McElyea, and brother, Johnny McElyea.

Surviving are wife, Julia McElyea, sons, David McElyea and wife Kara of Fayetteville, AR and Jason McElyea and wife Hyjein Lee of Houston, TX, daughter, Alicia Sword and husband Jonathan of Norwich, CT, brother, Daryl McElyea and wife Vicki of Winnsboro, TX. A graveside service will held be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Hopewell Cemetery located in Wood County, Texas with Bro. Lloyd Bedsworth officiating. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Wood County, TX. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM to on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Beaty Funeral Home , 816 W. Broadway, Winnsboro, Texas.
