Jirldean Carta

August 28, 1934 — March 4, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jirldean Carta, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, who left this world peacefully on March 4, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on August 28, 1934, in Marlow, Oklahoma, Jirldean lived a life filled with love, faith, and commitment to her family.

Residing in Winnsboro, Texas, Jirldean was known for her nurturing spirit and her dedication as a homemaker and caregiver. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life-reading her Bible, family ancestry research, engaging with game shows, solving crossword puzzles, and cherishing time spent with her family. A proud and steadfast Republican who loved her country, Jirldean was also a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene in Mineola, where her faith guided her daily.

Jirldean was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Donald, who left this world in 2002. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, who alongside a host of friends and extended family, will remember her warmth and kindness.

A graveside service to honor Jirldean's life will be held on March 13, 2026, at Lee Cemetery, starting at 2:00 PM. Prior to the service, family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

As we gather to celebrate the life of Jirldean Carta, let us remember her unwavering love, her faith, and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those who knew her. Her spirit will continue to shine in the lives she touched.

May she rest in peace.
