Jo Ann Harris

Jo Ann Glenn Harris, 84, of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away on May 17, 2023, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Harris was born to the late John and Viola (Dickerson) Glenn in Kaufman, Texas on December 7, 1938. She was a member of the Quitman church of Christ. Jo Ann married the love of her life George V. Harris on December 18, 1954. The two of them enjoyed a nearly 66 years of marriage as husband and wife. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband George V. Harris; daughters Susan Harris and Connie Burridge; and brother Billy Frank Glenn. Mrs. Harris is survived by her son Ricky Harris and wife Debra, son Robert Harris and wife Janice; sister Vonda Dickey and husband Robert; grandchildren Christy Kromer, Holly Pierce, Aaron Harris, and Victoria Harris; great-grandchildren Courtney Saunders, Corbin Kostal, Asher Harris, Lani Rangel, Grace Pierce, Nathan Pierce and Emmitt Pierce; great great-granddaughter Ellie Saunders.
