Joan Elizabeth Barr

Joan Elizabeth Barr passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at the age of 76. She was born on May 13, 1935 to the late Charles Jack Barr, Sr. and Lillian Elizabeth Johnson Barr. Mrs. Barr lived in Winnsboro for twelve years, having moved here from Dallas. She worked for the Redneck Ranch before retiring and was of the baptist faith. Mrs. Barr was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Bobby Jack Garrett and James Russell Thacker; daughter, Twana Kay Garrett and a sister, Barbara Jean Barr. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Robert Lynn and Karen and Ronnie Thomas; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Dianne Barr; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
