Joan Ruth Latham

Mrs. Joan Ruth Latham, age 81 of Sulphur Springs, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011 in Tyler with her family by her side. She was born in Irvington, New Jersey on July 3, 1929 to the late Fredrick and Louise Sommer Muller. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church of Sulphur Springs. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, George Latham of Sulphur Springs; sons, Steven Latham and wife Cathy of Arlington, Mark Latham of San Antonio; and three grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew and Caitlyn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Our Savior Lutheran Chuch in Sulphur Springs or to Gideons. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 11am at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1000 Texas St. Sulphur Springs, TX 75482; with Pastor Curtis Dorsey conducting.
