Joe C. Jordan

Mr. Joe C. Jordan, age 82, of Winnsboro, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in Tyler. Joe was born on July 8, 1930 in Winnsboro to the late Connie Hugh and Willie Mae Russell Jordan. He was a retired oilfield worker, dairy farmer, and was a member of the Coldwater Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ida Mae Bishop Jordan, and two brothers, and three sisters. He is survived by a son, Robert Jordan and wife Joyce of Winnsboro; daughters, Deborah Stegman and husband Randy of Omaha, TX., Leaquetta Bryce and husband Charles of Texas City; a brother, Jerry Jordan and wife Ella of Winnsboro; a sister, Connette Spence of Quitman; seven grandchildren, Rick Stegman, Leslie Elms, Oren Shane Jordan, Kiley Hayes, Sheldon Wolf, Jordan Wolf, Morgan Wolf, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
