Joe Frank Janes

Mr. Joe Frank Janes, age 89 of Alba, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020 in Grand Saline. He was born on February 17, 1931 in Spiro, Oklahoma to the late Hansford Janes and Lula Richards Janes. Mr. Janes served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, he was a retired Welder and served as Constable of Wood County precinct 2 and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters, Tammy and Myla Janes; grandchildren, Steven and Kelsea Janes and great grandson, Westen Janes and 9 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of over 65 years, Joie Janes of Alba; sons, Steve Janes and his wife, Shanon of Suger Land, Greg Janes and his wife, Teri of Henderson, and Randy Janes and his wife, Candy of Alba. Nine grandchildren and thirteen great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27th, 2020 from 9:00 am to 9:30 am at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773. Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 27th, 2020 at Pilgrims Rest #2 Cemetery 205 County Road 2376 Golden, TX 75444 at 10:00 am, Bro. David Hartsfield conducting.
