Joe Lee Steed

Mr. Joe Lee Steed passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the age of 76. He was born on April 29, 1933 to the late Virgil Steed and Lessie Jones Steed. He was an avid outdoorsman who sold fishing bait from his home in his latter years. He worked at Western Electric in Dallas and also worked as a firefighter and an airline employee. He traveled extensively in his younger days and enjoyed fishing, water skiing and scuba diving. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Sam Steed, Cecil Steed and Charles Steed. He is survived by a large extended family including numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
