John Edmond Denton

John Edmond Denton, 81, of Alba, TX passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 in Lindale, TX. He was born on Thursday, July 18, 1935 in Jacksonville, TX to the late Conley and Cleo Denton. Mr. Denton enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Ann Denton and brother, Jack Denton. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Candy “Elizabeth” Denton; two sons, Joel Denton of Karnack, TX and John Denton of Upshur County, TX; daughter, Brianna Denton of Alba, TX; sister, Betty Ackley and husband David of Plano, TX; sister in law, Nettie French of Garland, TX; three grandchildren, Josie Paige Denton of Temple, TX, Cody Denton of PA and Kayla Denton and husband Tanner of PA; two great grandchildren, Westin and Liam Denton; several nieces and nephews. Graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Lee Cemetery, Hwy. 37 S., Winnsboro, TX 75494.
