John Edward Graning

John Edward Graning, age 81, died Monday, June 25, 2012 in Mineola, Texas. He was born on Monday, March 30, 1931 in Beresford, South Dakota to the late John and Lila Graning. He was a plasterer and a member of the Local 61. He served in the United States Marine Corp. during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Fran Graning of Hawkins, Texas; four sons, Scott Graning and wife Tiffany of Tyler, Texas, Darryl Graning of Dallas, Texas, Ronald Graning of Dallas, and John Graning, Jr. and wife Camitha also of Dallas; and two grandchildren, Jon-Michael Graning and Christopher Graning.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Hawkins Cemetery with Rodney Spence officiating.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Heritage Hospice of Texas or Texas State Veterans Home in Tyler.
