John Hanson

Mr. John D. Hanson, age 73 of Ben Wheeler, passed away on Monday, January 6th, 2020 at his home. He was born on August 17th, 1946 in Mineola to the late Thomas Hanson and Mildred Stanford Hanson. He and his wife Patricia were the former owners of Mineola Flower Shop and a member of the Jimmy Swaggart Miniseries. He was preceded in death by his parents and step daughter, Andrea Hollis He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Hanson of Ben Wheeler; sons, Edd Hanson and his wife, Raina of Como, David Wayne Attaway of Pueblo, CO, Donny Attaway of Grain Valley, MO, Johnny Attaway and his wife, Angie of Lee's Summit, MO, Darrell Attaway and his wife Shannon of Mabank and Kenneth Attaway of Winnsboro; brothers, Tommy Hanson and his wife Diane of Tyler and Jim Hanson and his wife Shara of Mineola; sisters, Shirley Brooke of Mineola and Sherry Nichols and her husband David of Mineola; fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday at Mineola Christian Fellowship with Bro. Jim Clark Officiating.
