John William Keffer

John William Keffer was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 12, 2024 after battling a long illness. John was born April 14, 1944, to James Robert Keffer and Beryl Marion Jacob Keffer in Homestead, Pennsylvania.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Keffer; son, James Keffer; parents, James and Beryl Keffer; brother, Clark Keffer and step grandson, Zachary Gregory.

John is survived by his wife, Rebecca Keffer and her family, Chris and Adrian Sutton, Reese and Taylor Huff; granddaughters, Reagan Huff, Riley Sutton, Ginger Gregor, Zoie Batchelor, Sara Batchelor; great granddaughter, Elana Isabella Cuevas. His daughter and family include Kristi Keffer Linn and husband Rod Linn; grandsons, Joseph Keffer and Kenny Linn; granddaughter, Jacki Linn.

John worked in electrical engineering/design. He attended New Mexico State University.

Above work, John enjoyed troll fishing for Stripers, golfing and taking naps.

He will be missed by a host of friends and family.

Family will be having a Memorial Service on April 28, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Hainesville Baptist Church, Hainesville, TX.

Interment will be at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
