John Wayne Kratzmeyer

John Wayne Kratzmeyer,69, of Mineola, died Monday, December 9, 2013 in Mineola, Texas. He was born Friday, February 25, 1944 to John and Nettie Janice Kratzmeyer.

Mr. Kratzmeyer owned Johnny’s Automotive for 25 years. He was also a member of Mineola Chamber of Commerce.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his son Gregory Scott Kratzmeyer.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Connie Kratzmeyer of Mineola, TX; five sons, Alan Kratzmeyer and wife Priscilla of Cottonwood, TX, Travis Kratzmeyer and wife Melisa of Mineola, TX, Jerad Kratzmeyer and wife Sonya of Mineola, TX, Martin Kratzmeyer and wife Ashley of Mineola, TX, Justin Kratzmeyer and wife Alicia of Ohio; one daughter, Christy Kratzmeyer of Mineola, TX; four brothers, Jerry Kratzmeyer of Mineola, TX, Billie Kratzmeyer and wife Connie of Lindale, TX, David Kratzmeyer and wife Bonnitta of Hawkins, TX, Dean Kratzmeyer and wife JoAnn of Alba, TX; twenty two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Kratzmeyer will be 6 -8 PM, Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola. Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 13, 2013 at Turner Cemetery with Rev. William Carnley officiating.
