Johnnie Linn Miller

Johnnie Linn Miller, 71, of Mineola, TX passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, in Tyler, TX. She was born on Friday, April 20, 1945, in Denison, TX and adopted by the late John T. and Linda Simpson. Johnnie was a member of First Baptist Church in Mineola, TX. She worked at Mother's Day Out at the church and also taught vacation bible school. She was devoted in her faith and loved crafts and decorating. She is survived by her husband; Jim Miller of Mineola, TX; two sons, Christopher D. Miller and wife Cindy of Mesquite, TX and Garrett M. Miller of Mineola, TX; daughter, Susan G. Van Gee and husband Mark of Plano, TX; three grandchildren, Kayla, Brannan, Tiana; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Joah. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 18, 2016, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM and funeral services be held 3:00 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX officiated by Dr. Mark Neeley. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola, TX.
