Johnnie Lee Weeks

Johnnie Lee "John" Weeks, formerly of Mineola, passed away on October 4, 2023 at Arbor House Living of Waco, comforted by his family and the caring staff of Arbor House.

John was born on October 28, 1934 in Mineola, TX. He graduated from high school and later joined the U.S. Navy. After being honorably discharged, he went on to attend and graduate from Southern Methodist University. He had a long career with Baylor Medical Center where he helped lead the accounting department for many years. John was a Dallas resident while working for Baylor Medical Center who later retired and moved back to Mineola, TX. Later in life, he became a member of First Christian Church of Mineola. He was known for his outgoing personality and love of joking and teasing with those around him. He enjoyed fellowshipping, playing games with his family and friends, and traveling.

John is survived by sister Laura Ann Wittmer; her husband Charles Wittmer; nephew Jonathon Wittmer; his wife Shannon Wittmer; his daughters Anna'Marie; Everleigh; and Remington Wittmer. John was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Glen Weeks and Annie Ernestine (Padgett) Weeks. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects to John at a visitation to be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX on Thursday, October 12th at 10am.
