Johnny Lee Brown, 67, of Eustace, TX, died on Friday, January 16, 2015 in Carrollton, TX. He was born on Friday, December 26, 1947 in Tyler, TX, to the late John Tate and Louise Modine Brown.

Johnny served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He was a Captain of the Athens Fire Department from October, 1972 until August, 1976, he then went to work in October, 1976 for the Addison Fire Department as a Rank Engineer until January, 1994. He then started his own business called Brown Enterprises, which he designed and manufactured custom wood products.

He is survived by his wife; Annette Brown of Eustace, TX; two step sons, Brian Sikes of Midlothian, TX, Matthew Sikes of Austin, TX; sister, Jo Ann Robertson of Ennis, TX; nephew, Ronald Cox, Jr. of Ennis, TX; and three great nieces and one great-great nephew; three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX on January 20, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:00 am, followed by graveside service at 10:00 am at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola, TX, officiated by Bro. Fred Morrow.
