Joni Lenise Best

Funeral services for Mrs. Joni Lenise Best of Mineola, Texas are scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Mineola.

Mrs. Best was born June 7, 1962 in Dallas. She was a 15 year member of the First Baptist Church in Mineola and a current member of Community Christian Fellowship in Garden Valley, TX. She taught a the First Baptist Church playschool for 10 years, loved kids and raised three great kids of her own.

She grew up in Dallas and attended Dallas Christian High School and had lived in Mineola since 1992.

Survivors include her husband, Kevin Best; two sons, Casey Lee Millen and his fiancé Christian Schroeder and Samuel Lynn Best; one daughter Kylie Denise Best; parents, Bobby Burton Nelson, Sr. and Martha Jean Nelson; one brother, Bobby Burton Nelson and his wife, Lori, Jr. two sisters, Pamela Kay Murrey and her husband, Gary and twin sister, Judy Denise Vines and her husband David and two grandchildren, Kennedy Paige Schroeder and Gavin Thomas Millen.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Joni Best Memorial Scholarship Fund at the First Baptist Church in Mineola.
