Jose Franco, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and skilled handyman, bid farewell to this world on May 7, 2024, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 56. Born on June 5, 1967, in Mexico, to Jose and Juana (Rodriguez) Franco, he leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and cherished memories.
On September 29, 1984, Jose embarked on a journey of love with his soulmate, Antonia Jimenez. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising six children: Balerio Franco, Elizabeth Franco, Maria Santana, Anabel Garcia, Martha Franco, and Jennifer Franco. Their home echoed with laughter and joy as it expanded to welcome fourteen grandchildren: Aaron Soto, Alex Garcia, Bryan Santana, Valery Soto, Natalie Godoy, Brandon Garcia, Stephany Santana, Enrique "Kiko" Godoy, Victorya "Toti" Soto, Jon Garcia, Alyson Santana, Johnathan Santana, Josseph Garcia, and Alani "Amor" Godoy.
Jose's skilled hands and creative mind found solace and purpose in his work as a handyman. He poured his heart into every project, whether it was crafting furniture, working with wood, nurturing his garden, or spending peaceful moments fishing. Music was another passion, and he found joy in strumming his guitar, filling the air with melodies that soothed the soul.
However, Jose's greatest source of pride and joy was his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a doting grandfather. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support were the cornerstones of his family's strength and unity.
Jose is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Antonia Franco, his children Balerio, Elizabeth, Maria, Anabel, Martha, and Jennifer, several brothers and sisters, and his cherished grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Franco Sr. and Juana Rodriguez.
In the hearts of those who knew him, Jose Franco will forever be remembered for his gentle spirit, his warm smile, and the love he showered upon his family. Though he may have departed this world, his legacy of love and kindness will continue to shine brightly through the lives of those he touched. Rest in peace, dear Jose, knowing that your memory will live on forever in the hearts of your loved ones.
