Joseph E. Fitzgerald

Mr. Joseph Edward Fitzgerald, age 90 of Mount Vernon, passed away in Huntsville, Arkansas on Monday, June 18, 2012. He was born in Forbes, North Dakota on December 18, 1921 to the late Joseph F. and Mary Ann Avery Fitzgerald. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. He was a retired auto and oil field mechanic, as well as a Catholic. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda Mosely Fitzgerald; son, James Fitzgerald; siblings, Maxine, Mary Ann, Francis, and Vernon Fitzgerald. He is survived by a daughter, Bernadine Ann Fitzgerald Siddens and husband Clyde of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Theresa Cook and husband Andy of Huntsville, Arkansas, Joseph Siddens and wife Dee of Cypress, Texas, James Matthew Siddens and wife Rhonda of Axtell, Texas; and four great-grandchildren; Courtney Elizabeth Siddens, Morgan Leigh Siddens, Kristopher Matthew Siddens, James Marcus Siddens.
