Joseph William Strickland

Mr. Joseph "Bud" Strickland, age 83 of Winnsboro, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Mr. Strickland was retired from Piggly Wiggly and was a member of the Winnsboro Church of Christ. He was born on April 14, 1926 in Clarksville to the late Will and Mattie Roads Strickland. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Jearlene Strickland, brother , Bobby Strickland, sisters, Mildred Lovelace and Agnes Cearley, and one grandson, Jeremiah Wilkerson. He is survived by his wife, Ina Ray Maynard Strickland of Winnsboro; son, Gary P. Wilkerson and wife Mary of Wills Point; grandchildren, Christopher, Natalie, Kristina; one great-grandson, Nikolas; four loving step-children, and numerous other relatives.
