Josephine Garrett

Josephine Garrett of Winnsboro, Texas passed away into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 21, 2020. Ms. Garrett was born on January 26, 1928 in Houston, Texas to Grady Westmoreland Garrett and Maurine (Davis) Garrett. Josephine was a care-giver and a member of Tinney Chapel United Methodist Church. Ms. Garrett is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Milton and Miles Garrett; sisters Leah and Mildred Garrett. Josephine is survived by daughters Beckie Cannon (Kenneth) and Belinda Moss; sister Corrine Page; granddaughter Wendy Jo Marzek; 3 great-grandchildren Jonathan Dakota Townsend, Triston Cole Marzek and Trenton Chaz Marzek. The family will gather at a later date for a memorial service to celebrate Josephine's life at Shady Grove Cemetery. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro.
