Joseph J Ortiz 80 who served in the US Army was Born July 17,1933 in Sheperd ,MI to Salvatore Ortiz and Guadalupe Ortiz who preceded him in death, Joseph peacefully passed away while his daughter held his hand as he went to be with his wife and our Lord on January 12,2014 at 2:45pm at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Winnsboro, Tx. Joseph was 1 of ten children 6 brothers all preceding him in death and 3 sisters 1 preceded him in death, also he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy F. Ortiz of 44 years, Winnsboro is where they lived for 13 years they both loved living here. They were members of first Baptist church Winnsboro they loved their church and the people there. Joseph Ortiz is survived by his son Joseph K .Palaile and his wife Rose of Zanesville, OH, daughter Maria L Giebas and her husband Raymond of Arlington, Tx and son Mitchell W. Ortiz of Winnsboro,Tx also 13 Grandchildren, and 9 Great grandchildren. Memorial sevices will be held at first Baptist Winnsboro on the January 25,2014 at 10:00am the visition of family and friends 11:00am the memorial services then gravesite at 11:45am then the repast at 12:30pm.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made, if desired, to: First Baptist church Winnsboro, 200 W.
