Joyce Jean Clark

July 19, 1928 — February 1, 2015

Jean Plunk Clark passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015 in Canton, TX.

She was born and raised in the Providence Community and graduated from Van High School. She moved to Dallas to attend Business School. She worked for Sears for sixteen years. Jean married Don Clark in 1965 and moved to the Rio Grande Valley until 1992. She was very involved with the Masons and Eastern Star for many years. They moved to Mineola, TX in 1992 and joined The First Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; George W. and Flora Plunk; two brothers; seven sisters and her husband Don Clark.

She is survived by her two daughters; Phyllis Morris and husband Larry of Eustace, TX and Beverly Dill and husband Larry of Garland, TX; three grandchildren, Cari and Patrick Malone, Vicki and Andy Reitinger and Heath and Shanna Morris; one brother Ben Plunk; and twin sister June Brown; eleven great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be at Beaty Funeral Home on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 1:30 pm. Internment will follow at Providence Cemetery.
