Joyce Carol Smith

Mrs. Joyce Cannon Smith, age 81 of Scroggins, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 in Sulphur Springs. She was born on September 13, 1940 in Hamilton, Montana to the late Joe Cannon and Clair Volden Cannon.

Joyce was a retired realtor and interior designer and member of Clearwater Baptist Church. She enjoyed exotic cars, fashion and was a great lover of animals. Her favorite thing was to sit with a cup of coffee and watch the birds.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Koral Ki Smith and Rosemary Frejo.

She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Zamora of Scroggins; son, Richard Keith Zamora of Lubbock; daughter, Carrie Richardson of Colorado Springs, Colorado and four grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Bethel Cemetery CR 4350 Scroggins, TX 75480 at 1:00 pm with Dr. Bill Holmes conducting.
