Judy Lynn Beaty, a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and treasured friend, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on October 31, 1948, in Pittsburg, Texas, she lived a life rich in love, faith, and dedication.
A proud graduate of Texas Woman's University, Judy devoted her professional life to the field of healthcare, serving as a nurse with compassion and care for many years. Most notably, she served as the school nurse for Winnsboro ISD, where she touched the lives of countless students and families. Judy was a member of Pine Street Baptist Church and a former member of First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro where she directed the choir and poured her heart into preparing Wednesday night fellowship meals, fostering a sense of community through her love of cooking and music.
Judy's spirit shone brightest when she was surrounded by those she loved. She cherished family gatherings, including delightful lunches with her girlfriends, and she particularly treasured trips to Panama City Beach. Her legacy will be carried on by her loving husband, Don Beaty; her sons, Paul Beaty and John-Brent Beaty; her grandchildren, who all called her JuJu, Brighan Beaty (fiancé Sarah), Banks Beaty (fiancé Evie), Tripp Beaty, and Belle Beaty; her great-grandchild, Roman Beaty; her brother and sister-in-law Brent and Melinda Cain, and her dear nieces and nephew, Carla Cordova, Chris Cain, Beverly McAdoo, Holly Ready, Lindsey Sebek, Kim Geraci, and Scott Beaty.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Judy's remarkable life at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro. Visitation will take place on September 3, 2026, at 6:00 PM, allowing loved ones to gather in reflection and remembrance. A funeral service will follow on September 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM, honoring her memory and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her.
Judy Lynn Beaty's legacy of love, joy, and service will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched, reminding us all to celebrate the small moments and cherish our time together. May she rest in peace.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Ruel Cain and Kathryn Martin Cain, brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Charlotte Cain, brother-in-law Roger Beaty and mother-in-law, Miriam Beaty.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
