Judy A. Hughes

Judy (Sutton) Hughes of Winnsboro, Texas entered into the gates of heaven on July 3, 2020. Judy was born on June 24, 1944 in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Hughes grew up most of her life around Winnsboro and raised by her loving mother Velma (Henson) Sutton. She worked for the family business, Hughes Refrigeration and Glass along side her husband Robert as the accountant and administrator. Judy loved Christmas gatherings with her brother Joe Wesley Sutton and his children Cindee and Wes. She always looked forward to vacations with her grandsons Peyton, Blane and her niece Cindee. Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her mother Velma, husband Robert Neal Hughes in 2012, and sister-in-law Dolores Sutton. Judy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Cindy Essl; grandsons Peyton Essl and Blane Essl; brother Joe Wesley Sutton; niece Cindee Huddy and nephew Wes Sutton. A memorial service to celebrate Judy's life will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, July 26th, at the Coldwater Baptist Church in Winnsboro.
